In August, I will be running a half-marathon to raise money for Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Rady Children's Hospital is San Diego's only designated pediatric trauma center and the only area hospital dedicated solely to pediatric care.
Now typically I am not what you would call a big "cause guy", but this is a cause the really resonates with me. What you don't know about me is that I was born one month premature and the first weeks of my life were spent in an incubator fighting for survival. With over 30 (mostly) joyous years on this planet, it's obvious that quality pediatric care made a profound difference in my life. It is my hope that by running next month, it will make a profound difference to others as well.
I hope you will please join me in supporting this worthwhile cause by using this link to donate. The website is secure, fast and easy to use. At the website you will be able to choose an amount to donate and receive email confirmation of your (tax deductible) donation. Many thanks in advance for your support.
Warmest regards,
Smoove

Please read.Great cause Smoove. I have a couple of nieces in the San Fransisco bay area that are running in the marathon in Hawaii very soon. I marvel at anyone that can muster that resolve and endurance. Lots of hard work and training. I'll offer up a prayer for your endeavor and I wish you the best! |
